PRECIOUS PARTNER (2013)
An overview of progress so far (2012/2013)
All honour, praise, and adoration to God Almighty, whose boundless love and mercies have sustained us thus far. This is despite the adversary’s repeated attempts to discourage us, sift us, truncate God’s plan for our lives, or even take our lives. Indeed, we are a highly privileged generation—privileged to be alive, to know Him, and to be entrusted with the task of labouring ceaselessly for the expansion of His Kingdom. I am delighted that God, by His grace and mercy alone, has found us worthy of this holy service, not because of our own competence or commitment. Hallelujah!
I wish to express my profound gratitude once again for your tireless support in praying, giving, and partnering with us in the Master’s work. Specifically, I thank you for joining us on the 6th of March, 2012, to inaugurate the Elect Ladies’ Fellowship and Elect Support Group (ELF/ESG)—an outreach to widows and single mothers. Since then, we have met regularly for fellowship, mutual care, and strengthening. The various committees of the Elect Support Group have worked relentlessly in prayer, visitation, counselling, donating food and clothing, offering free legal assistance, and providing financial aid to the needy. In fact, ten women have been financially empowered through our interest-free loan scheme to start small-scale businesses, which has greatly encouraged them and boosted their self-esteem. Additionally, seven Elect Ladies have gained employment at Juniors/Christ Ambassadors International Schools. To God be all the glory! Thank you for putting smiles on the faces of these women. Please be assured that your sacrifices and labours of love are a sweet fragrance before the Lord.
In the same vein, I thank you for believing with us to launch the Hope and Restoration weekly TV programme on NTA Ibadan. To God’s glory, we have been on air since last October. We have received numerous testimonies from people who have been saved, blessed, and whose homes or marriages have been restored by God through this telecast. You are a tremendous source of encouragement and the reason we are continually propelled to serve our Lord and Saviour. I am fully convinced that you will be richly rewarded, both here on earth and in God’s coming kingdom. Amen.
March 2013
Our missionaries are labouring diligently to establish new converts in the faith through various discipleship and leadership training programmes. The Eleta Church building, once opposed by seen and unseen forces, has been completed and was dedicated on the 17th of February, 2013; worship services have now commenced. Furthermore, the church building project (flooring and plastering) in Odo Aba, Osun State, has been commissioned. These milestones confirm the words of our Master that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His church. Truly, God is awesome. As Proverbs 15:30 says, our bones are “made fat” daily with good news.
The Lord has laid it on our hearts to strengthen our frontiers this year. This has necessitated a planned trip to The Gambia to encourage and contribute to the work already underway through our missionaries there. Despite the security and financial challenges around us, we choose to remain focused on Him who called us.
Beloved, it has truly been a harvest of breakthroughs as the Lord has blessed our endeavours. The Elect Ladies’ Fellowship—founded on love, care, and concern for widows and single mothers—will mark its first anniversary on the 6th of March, 2013. On that same day, a book written by Barr. Segun Olonade, a member of the Elect Support Group (ESG), in honour of my family will be presented and dedicated. This also commemorates the third anniversary of the passing into glory of Dr. Temidayo Oluyele Bademosi and the second anniversary of the foundation (TOB) established in his memory.
Praise God, it has been a success story, and we sincerely believe He will accomplish even greater things through us this year.
Finally, I wish to remind you of our weekly intercession for world missions. I’m sure you agree that prayer is indispensable for making a lasting spiritual impact. If you are in Ibadan and available, please join us every Wednesday at 1:00 PM at Juniors/Christ Ambassadors International Schools as we seek God on behalf of the nations.
Our weekly radio broadcast, Hope & Restoration, airs every Sunday from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Wellsradio 89.3 FM Ibadan. Please make it a regular appointment; you will be richly blessed.
It is my earnest prayer that His grace and mercy will enable us to seek God’s face faithfully and committedly, to establish His ultimate purpose for the nations of the earth.
Yours in world evangelization,
Evang. Lillian Bademosi
