Missions Report From ODO-OBA (2013).

Praise and Prayer Requests

We give all praise to God for His faithfulness. Through His endless mercies and matchless grace, hearts have been turned to Him and are being nurtured in the faith.

Praises:

Thank God for souls won to the Lord.
Bless the Lord for providing the funds for the completion of the church building.
We are grateful for dedicated coordinators: Mrs. Sunday Gbenle, Bro. Taye Palma, and Bro. Gabriel Eze, who lead our outreach and choir departments, respectively.
We are glad to report that the Odo-Aba church plant is steadily growing in all areas. Our weekly fellowship meetings are well-attended, and God’s presence is mightily felt.

Ministry Update:

We held an outreach at Aba Adifagbade in June this year. The village is predominantly occupied by Idoma people from Benue State, and seven individuals surrendered their lives to Christ. We have begun weekly discipleship training for them, and the response has been very encouraging.
We are engaged in aggressive visitation, follow-up, discipleship, and evangelism in every village around Odo-Aba to strengthen our members and win more souls for the Kingdom.

Prayer Requests:

Ask the Lord to establish and sustain the new disciples in their faith.
Ask God to shield our missionary team with His power and glory.
Pray for an all-around increase in the church—spiritually, numerically, and in resources.
Pray that God will open the hearts of the villagers to become receptive to the gospel of salvation in Christ Jesus.
Request the Lord for open heavens and for a great harvest of souls in 2013.
Frustrate every scheme of the wicked against us and all that concerns the ministry.
Uphold the family of our late church elder, Pa Peter Esan, in your prayers. He passed to glory on the 1st of November, 2012, after a brief illness.
Thank God for the peace and strength that has sustained us to this point.
